FRESHMAN BIOLOGY

During freshman year students will take either Biology or Honors Biology. These are our foundational courses for students in establishing their science skills. Once the life science course is completed, students will have options to expand their science skills through Chemistry and Physics. A number of our students will eventually move on and challenge themselves in a variety of Advanced Placement courses. We also offer a number of other science options as well. Please check them out In our online Course Selection Guide!

ACADEMIC VS. HONORS BIOLOGY

Academic and Honors Biology include the same core life science topics. Honors level courses move at a quicker pace and will go deeper into those core concepts. Honors students are typically strong independent learner and demonstrate effective executive functioning skills.
