English Learners

The English Learners (EL) program serves as a support for students whose proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English is not yet sufficient to provide them with the ability to meet the proficiency level of achievement on State assessments, the ability to successfully achieve in classrooms where the language of instruction is English, or the opportunity to participate fully in the school setting. Andrew's EL program aims to develop students’ proficiency in English, as well as in the district’s core curriculum.
