REPORT FROM HEAD COACH
Our Emma's qualified this weekend for the Girls State Finals. They are very deserving of this nomination due to their outstanding athletic and academic talent as seniors and for their entire time at Andrew. The past 3 years these two have played the #1 and #2 singles positions in a very difficult Tennis Conference. This year Emma K played #1 and had a 14-12 record and Emma L played #2 and had a 20-6 record. When the Sectionals came out we found out we were put in a tough Sectional with 4 outstanding singles players so the decision was made to make a run at State by becoming Andrew's #1 doubles entry. They sacrificed who they were as singles players for the good of the team and give them the best chance of representing their HS at State. They worked hard to leave their comfort zone in singles and try doubles. They were successful and look forward to represent Andrew at State this upcoming Thursday.
