Josh Hirsch and Luke Zukowski have both been outstanding contributors to our boys golf team’s success this week and are deserving of Athlete of the Week recognition. Josh Hirsch tied the school’s 9-hole scoring record with a 3-under-par 33 at the St. Laurence match on Tuesday, while Luke Zukowski set a new school record for 18 holes by shooting a 2-overpar 74 at the Crete-Monee Warrior Invite on Friday. Both players have played a major role in our team’s strong start to the season. Their performances at the Crete-Monee Warrior Invite were especially significant, as they were two of the four golfers who contributed scores to our new school-record team total of 312. Their individual accomplishments, consistency, and contributions to the team exemplify the hard work and competitive spirit we want to see from our student-athletes.
